ROC Commerce is the brand new fully
integrated kart centre management tool the ROC development
team has been working on for the last 18 months. The POS
module has been completely re-written and a new
sales-office module added. The sophisticated resource and
contact manager enables the optimization of an unlimited
amount of resources. Typically, most upscale facilities
will have 1 or 2 tracks, a Combined GP circuit, A
conference room, meeting rooms and restaurant/bar. ROC
Commerce can easily manage these resources. The system is
equally as home at multi activity centres where each
activity can be treated as a resource. This allows you to
plan a group’s activities for the day extremely
accurately. EG Quads @ 10am Argocats @ 11:20 Lunch in the
Surtees suite @ 12:45 followed by an afternoons karting
from 14:00 to 16:00. All these activities are then linked
to one booking. A booking form, Itinerary and Invoice for
the event can be generated at the touch of a button and
emailed to customers instantly.
In addition to the above the key
features of the previous ROC SQL software have been
retained and refined. There is still full point of sale
(POS) capability with integrated membership functionality,
including the ability to print full color magnetic encoded
member cards in approximately 30 seconds, customized to
the membership type and personalized with the members’
photo on. Multiple membership levels can now easily be
selected. The entry level package includes a single user
POS license. ROC Commerce incorporates a state of the art
Point Of Sale system that allows complete management of
financial transactions including cash and credit card. The
SQL database records individual customer information
including personal details, visits, spending history, full
lap times and other marketing details. The SQL system
includes both Active Reports and Crystal Reports to assist
you in mining the crucial customer data. Other data mining
programs are available for an extra charge.
If you feel that you need more than 1
terminal license you can either expand your system and buy
a 3 user licence or for the flagship circuits you may need
to purchase a 9 user licence. For most venues, a 3 user
licence is recommended. This will allow you to run 2
terminals in the reception area while keeping one in the
sales office to take corporate bookings.
ROC HQ
ROC Commerce can be upgraded to Roc HQ which allows
geographically dispersed facilities to be networked
together. This allows customer details to be available at
all centers so they can still swipe in at a sister circuit
if they signed up at another venue. HQ also features a
centralized database (data warehouse) which allows you to
view reports centrally, manage inventory being shipped to
the various centers and allows you to do all your
financial analysis centrally
Please note that ROC Commerce requires a CAT5 network
(100Mbps or higher).
Timing and Scoring (Pit Manager
Software)
Arrive and Drive - ROC Commerce automatically updates
driver information from reception/front desk to the pits
and to race control across the network. All customers are
scheduled by the system (see scheduling below) and the
system can be configured for single push button operation.
Resource Scheduling
ROC Commerce allows the sales department or reception /
front desk to plan arrive and drive sessions and corporate
events in advance by blocking out time and resources.
Drivers can now book in advance over the telephone for
arrive and drive sessions and open / league events. You
can elect to accept payment in advance by credit card,
take a deposit and or pay the balance/full amount on the
day of the event.
Reports
ROC Commerce features new reports, that can be customized
to suite the venue. A new one is an electronic indemnity
report, printed for a customer at the touch of a button.
ROC Commerce can re-print score
sheets for races in the past.
Race Management (For Corporate
Events)
All driver or team information is entered into the ROC
Commerce system at reception/front desk and is organized
into the chosen format.
Endurance Races - ROC Commerce will allow complete
management of endurance races including allocation of
karts to teams, management of qualifying, practice and
timing and scoring the race.
Grand Prix Style (Heats Races) - Race Manager will
automatically organize up to 200 drivers into any
combination of heats, semi finals and finals, all kart
allocation, grid position allocation and timing and
scoring is automatic.
ROC Commerce EPOS Software
The ROC Commerce system includes a fully integrated front
desk solution. >From a front desk terminal the operator is
able to:
- Enter new members.
- Print full color photo member cards in less than
25 seconds.
- Take payment for customer ride and any other purchases.
- Schedule drivers into arrive and drive sessions
or race events.
- Register and schedule existing members with one
card swipe.
- Sell any product such as merchandising or refreshments.
- Process up to 144 customers per hour.
- Management of all retail functions including food
and beverage sales.
- Sell and redeem gift voucher.
- View daily sales graph
- Employee Time-clock
- Management of Discount structures.
- Allocate funds to customers cards
- Print X,Z and ZZ reports
Std Kart Maintenance Program
Hour Log - allows the operator to keep track of exactly
how many hours running has been completed by each kart
and allows maintenance crews to log all service or
maintenance details.
Office Manager
ROC Commerce office manager provides substantial
management functions including the following

cards. The system allows for up to 5 separate pricing

receive 10% discount on all products and services where
students may receive discounts at certain times.
TV Results Software
The ROC TV results software enables
the circuit operator to broadcast race results to monitors
(not supplied) throughout the facility.
